Patent Licensing
 MOSAID pursues licensing opportunities through two main licensing programs: Semiconductor Licensing and Telecommunications Licensing. The Company's patent portfolio of over 2,001 patents and applications is the result of a comprehensive strategy that includes: patent acquisitions; sub-licensing through patent licensing partnerships; and patents obtained on internally developed technology.
MOSAID is well known for developing and licensing innovative semiconductor memory technology. Under its Semiconductor Licensing Program, the Company's reputation as a major licensing organization is evidenced by the signing of comprehensive patent licensing agreements covering virtually 100% of the world's commodity DRAM market since 1999. The Wireless/Wireline Licensing Program focuses on licensing mobile wireless technology end products, including laptops, handsets, access points and game consoles. In 2007, MOSAID established this program through the acquisition of a portfolio of 20 wireless patents and three patent applications. Included in this program is licensing the wireline networking patents already in the portfolio.
